I feel ya man .. mine went out a few weeks ago. It was torture for 3 days until I got someone to bring a new unit.

maybe run down and get one of those portable units as back up so if something happends. i got one that rolls around on wheels brand new and you just exhaust hose to window and your rolling i think i got mine for like 400 bucks from Sears but it came with somekind of warenty and service plan. i already broke it out 2 weeks ago when it got inot the 90's if i cant get a good night slep because of the heat i dont go to work the next day,iam just to grouchy.

I feel your pain bro - happened too me last year, and it just happened again saturday - and my sorry a$$ landlord hasn't even sent anyone over yet.

I like my little "Barn" here (I live in a converted Tobacco Barn), and god knows it's cheap at $375 a month, but enough is enough - my first big bonus, and I'm gone!
