i am pissed about that freeware and i am going to deinstal it .
it has giving me crashes and it does not update anymore,same with a friend of mine.
is there another alternative that i could use in combination with ad aware ?

Have you tried ad aware from lavasoft? It's a pretty good platform.

i use adaware in combination with spybot . to really clean your system you need both programms!!!!
spybot used to find tons of hax ad aware doesn't find ,so i need an alternative to spybot i guess.

believe it or not man, microsoft's new program 'defender' (formally ms antispyware) has found more stuff that both of those programs for me. Give it a shot:

holy cow your the man i usually use both spybot and adaware and thought they where sufficiant. but i just dl'ed the windows one it was fast like 1 min to down load and ran it sure enough found 3 severe ratings so i had them removed. thanks for the great info one more time :)

If you don't mind paying for something - I like both Pest Patrol and Spysweeper. I use Pest Patrol myself.
Both of these are different than the free ones (exept the MS one) because they have active protection like AV software.
