The Boss (VP of Engineering) asks me Monday. "Hey Andy, we have alot of people walk through the remodeled engineering department and they always brag about how neat your 3D models and assemblies look. We need to get you a bigger monitor. I inform him that the 21" LCD monitor I have is great. I love it. He asks would you want one better. Being quick witted and short thinker I say "Hell Yeah, get me a 42" Plasma. He seems ok with it and mentions something about putting one in the department somewhere (maybe wireless which why I was asking wi fi questions in the tech support thread) but I come in Friday and see that I have a 42" plasma monitor at my desk. he says since you seem to be the HD TV savvy guy in the department (Thankyou Robby) he tells me its mine, YAHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Here's a pic of my new monitor at work (CAN WE SAY EYE PROBLEMS and HEADACHE).

It will be at my desk. I'll actually turn around and work at my monitor, but when needed for large assemblies or what ever I just fire up the big screen and turn around, WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on Reed. Read the post before you go slinging the boon comment around. The 42" is basically a use only on a temp basis to show large assemlbies, but the bulk of my work is still done on my 21" LCD.
