I've been gripping about that for years. I LOVE the days of old in Quake when you did actually hit what you were shooting at.

P.S. But, on the other hand. He may not be a hunter, becuase if it's one thing I can tell you about real life and shooting. You hardley ever hit exactly what your aiming at. Even with a shotgun. I'm not a candy ass gamer and I prefer games where you hit what you aim at but everything has its place make some games both ways and see which one sells the most.

Pretty good read. I like to hit what I'm aiming at too. Ofcourse I'm the guy who has played hundreds of hours of FPS and still can't shoot worth a crap. Atleast now I have the knowledge to say, "I'm a good shot but the developer screwed up the game." Although I do think CS:S aiming physics are messed up, I shoot like crap is Source and pwn in 1.6.
