picked up some tonight, simply because i wanted a beer after work, it caught my eye, and i hadn't tried it before.

tastes like malt liquor to me - in fact i think i would have rather had some bull, colt .45 or olde english 800.

yuk -

It should be the first thing you select to throw out of the fridge. It is some nasty whatever it is.

Same here bigone, taste like bud light to me, but with the alchohol content of bud weiser, minus the hangover that the bud heavies pack.

Yuengling is the shizzle! But when I'm with my neighbors I usually drink Bud light, I've heard Select sucks bad. I've been thinking about trying the Yuengling Black and Tan ever since I saw Andy's post on making a black and tan, just haven't got around to it. Gonna be awhile too since a friend just bought me a case of Yuengling bottles for fixing her computer, w00t!

sweet!!! Yeah, Yuengling is, hands down, my fav new beer. The Lager is just....well, great. What kind did she give you?

Lager, if I'm paying that's what I'm buying. Nothing like a good lager.

I remember in high school you could only find Yuengling at a few stores and it was about $30 a case in Maryland. But if you went to Penn. you could buy it for $10 a case because it was a microbrew. Now almost 10 years later I can find it on tap at most restaurants in MD and Delaware.

Up where I am from; I like local brewery stuff (stouts, scottish ales, lager), I don't mind some hef's (Blue Moon, Beltian White, Belgian White), Moosehead, Molson.

Post some regional stuff from down there, and how I can get it if possible. I like trying different stuff at times. Thanks in advance for any info.
