The one thing that I wish they could have done is merged the expansion to the Core Battlefield 2 game. From how I understand it Special Forces will be like the Road to Rome expansion for Battlefiled1942. If you want to play Special Forces it will be on totally different servers from BF2. I don't think one incorporates the other. But please if anyone knows different let me know. But I think when playing we will have to either find a BF2 server or BF2: SF server.

hmm interesting. At first when i was reading i was like, 'aww man everything is gonna be dark, that sux' Then i started thinking. This could be fun. Its going to be more about stealth now, rather than just running in all gung ho. Your going to take things at a slower pace. Hug walls etc. Things could get really intense. Think of it as splinter cell, but on a much larger scale.

And yes skits, i'm betting they'll be on different servers. Thats how all of their other expansion packs worked. So we'll have to pick nights out of the week that we'll all go play SF or regular BF2 hehe

Hmm... I don't know I haven't been impressed with their infantry battles in BF2. Sounds like they are trying to make CS or something.

the road to road expansion was not on different servers. we ran dc, rtr, and regular bf1942 on our servers. so it might not be on different servers, just if a server has it in the map rotation and you dont have it you will get kicked when the server loads that particular map.

no armor....what kind of crap is that!

Diesel and I were talking about that this morning. It might be a tad bit better if you could only spawn at the mainbase or team leader. It might encourage the teamwork aspect a lot more. Hey at least we all play somewhat effectively together. It just sucks when you have a freakin gaggle of people just sittin on top of a carrier waiting for one helo which can only seat TWO Freakin people!!!
