I'm bound and determined to fix your mic issues man. I did a little step by step in turning on the boost for your mic to see if that helps at all. This may help some in the future too:

1. Doubleclick the speaker icon by the clock on your desktop

2. Click 'options' at the top, then click 'properties'

3. Put a check beside 'microphone' and click 'ok'

4. Click 'options' at the top again, this time click 'advanced controls'

5. This places an 'advanced' button below the microphone entry, click it.

6. Check the 'microphone boost' box and click 'close'

Thats it, just close out the sound properties.

Also I dont know if you have done this or not, but up the volume in teamspeak itself:

1. click on 'settings' at the top, then click 'sound input/output settings'
2. up the 'output volume' at the top

Hope this helps. I'm also trying to figure out your minimizing issue, is this still happening? Check your PM.

lol, I'm leaving work early today and going to Wal-Mart to get me another Mic. When I get it I'll use this "easy to use guide" to set it up. I bought my current mic 4 years ago at Wal-mart for $5.00 . I think I've gotten every penny I could out of that thing.

Don't forget to check your recording Mic settings. This also effects your voice in game. This little hint I learned from Roselind.

I found that since I have a Audigy Platnium I use the secondary Mic input on the front panel of my case. Battlefield2 *RESETS* this back to the original Mic position on the rear of the sound card. I found on numerous occasions that this happens.
