Server out of Date...Friday A.M. 0001 hours...WTF? cant get on. Is this normal.

It is normal when Steam sneaks out an update.

Yep, thats normal.
Steam does this every few days to remind us that they are realy in control.
They remind us of this fact by releasing an update that brings our server to its knees, you must D/L'ed it or else.
