My free version of Windows XP Proffesional 64 will be here in approximately 3 to 4 weeks. You can get a free trial version at www.microsoft.com. Shipping is about 6 dollars. Now, If I can just find some 64 bit apps to use it, hehehehehe. Well now I'm 2 out of 3. I have the 64 bit computer. In three weeks I'll have a 64 bit OS. And some time in the future I will have a 64 bit app. WOOHOO!

what are you talking about, mine is legit.... Our school sold their soal to Microsoft so that The U wouldn't get sued for US downloading microsoft stuff. I Got XP pro for $4.99, I got XP Office with Frontpage for $6.45 and I got Mac Office for $6.99. So when I Built my computer i was able to put it all on for under 11 bucks....

LOL, So can you get me a legit copy for that price. I also found out today that the 3D modeling software I use (Pro-Engineer Wildfire 2.0) comes in 64 bit application. So if any of you guru's can find me a copy of that I'll be cooking with gas.

I don't have it yet, but when I load it up I'll let you know. The articles at microsoft.com say that the enhancement in 32 bit apps (which is everyhting) run only marginally better but as 64 bit apps come out the performance increase is almsot unmeasureable. You go from an approximate 2 gig virtuall memory limit to a 16 TERABIT, WOW. Now do they make hard drives that big, good lord.
