Me and my Ex were in the hospital after she had our son. I wanted to name him Jerry Cooksey III (hey I got cursed with the name of my father, theres no reason why my kid should have the same punishment). My then wife was so mad at me at the time should wouldn't even concider it. Then I suggested "Scott Russell" (5 time Daytona Superbike roadracing champion), I got a big fat hell no on that one. We were in her room watching "Coach". Well ...... we ended up naming our son "Hayden". She liked the name and I was jazzed up about the name because Nicky Hayden was leading the 600cc motocycle roadracing championship that year and I always watched "Coach".

I think Shadow and I have heard the same story on the "OrangeJello"; I heard from one of the other nurses when I worked for the Medical Center that some lady named her twins "Or-on-ja-lo" and "La-mon-ja-lo" (orange jello and lemon jello). I've also heard someone used: "So-feel-ee-us" (siphilis).

Having grown up living right on the Bay and always loving the Gulf (I'm also a Cancer, so I love water), I wanted to name my kids with related names: Bay (or even Bayley), River, Coral, Shell, etc etc. I was out-voted every single time though. :dunno
