The contrast ratio is low, and the response time is only 16ms. Since your eyes are probably alot older than mine, the only thing I can tell you is to try a monitor for yourself.

Personally, I'm really skanky about my monitor, and I wouldn't buy anything I've never heard of, much less no reviews on.

That's a great response time, only a handfull of monitors have response times less than that.

do some research on that brand. never heard of it myself. see if you can figure out who acutaly makes that monitor (all they are doing is re-branding it with their name) I would be leary of a company I never heard of selling a 17" LCD for an extreamly low price. (the lowest I've seen a 17" LCD from a reputable company is from Dell, I can get their ultrasharp 1704FPV for $255, and that's a helluva good monitor)

they have another one on sale for like 20 $ more from samsung i believe ,buy that one!!

both of those are better choices!!!i would go for acer ,but dont buy that polyview.probably made by the same factory or manufactura but i dont know about customer service.
