I'm from new orleans. I was talking with my friend john on the phone and we remembered "LA MERCS" just checked back on the website and said, "HOLY ****! Looks good!" Well, anyway thats my 2 cents...

Yeh I'm a newb too, Ryan's friend. Used to play CS way long ago, so long I don't even rember what version it was that I played. Now that I have built a new computer I got back into CS with my purchase of Half Life 2, well counter stike source anyway.

Normally there is alot of activity on the server and it's alot of fun to play on. What's in the computer that you built John?

Well I built myself a shuttle small form factor computer. The stats are as follows:
Shuttle Model: SN85G4
CPU: AMD Athlon64 3200
RAM: Corsair DDR400
Video Card: Geforce 6800GT
250 Gig Maxtor SATA HD
NEC 8x DVD+-R(W) Burner
20.1 inch Dell 2001FP LCD monitor

Those for the most part are my computer stats. Whats really nice about this system is since it's a small form factor it's really easy to pick up and go. Perfect for lanning! After last years Quakecon I had the shuttle, but I had a 19 inch Viewsonic CRT that I had with me, and it was a pain in the butt to carry back to the hotel room since we decided to break down our machines early to escape the machine lock in and avoid the long lines the next day. It was hot and I was sweating like a pig carring the thing what seemed like a distance of 3 football fields. I swear it almost slipped out of my hands ten times. Now with the LCD I get great gaming performance, and best of all 2 free hands when carring my complete system.
