Want to help the troops? How about the snipers that take out that enemy from 200+ yards away? I was told about this from my dad and thought it was pretty cool.

Okay, but why do Us snipers need additional help? The reason I ask is that I read and see that snipers are very real and important parts of military strategy and deployment nowadays. I just wonder why they need additonl funding for stuff like optics and misc gear?!?

Youre kidding right? Talk to some military guys who worked spec ops and they will tell you exactly what I read in one of the letters...The commanders don't understand why snipers need special gear. Whats good for the grunts is good for the snipers. Obviously that's BS. Reminds me of the scene in Heartbreak Ridge where Eastwood is *****ing about gettign gear for a rapid deploy and the dumb as Col is telling him to fill out forms...
