Hmm, yeah I saw that today on the news. Course, they wouldn't like my answer and THAT,my friends, does not cost 330 million dollars.

The other point is that it will help us prepare for a comet on a collision course for our planet. However, the chances are so low, we should be putting our money on the closer and more dangerous threats at hand: terrorism, medical research, etc.

Just my 2 cents. :)

Sides, the way things are, I don't think the planet will be around long enough to see a comet dropping in on us.

This is the kind of stuff NASA does...why are you surprised? Inter-solar system research like this is what made moon walks and Mars exploration possible. SHould be soom REALLY COOL photos/video too. I'll ignore the veiled religion references.

The article is a hoax, read some of the detail about it... " A launch window of 1 second " .... DUHHHH... and a blast equal to 4.5 tons of TNT would not pop a pimple on the commets face... I dont believe this article is real.

I say leave the damn comets alone. we start sending rockets up there on a collision course with these things...next thing that happens is that the comet changes directions by a millionth of a degree and ends up striking earth dead nuts......how is that beer commercial??

BRILLIANT!!!!!

No debate from me, those who belive will and those who don't won't and it's not my job to convence them.

er....I thought it was the job of every Christian to spread the word? But I don't think you meant it in that context....

It's our job to spread it as in tell, what the person does with it after that is not our responcibility. It's between them and the good Lord.
