Server issue

I can't even get on the merc server, somewhere down the line like 16 hops it times out, anyone know how i can this be fixed?

Steam had an update yesterday. Think it needs to be rebooted.

I am getting the error message that my ticket can't be vailidated on the La Merc server. However any other server I go into it works fine.
Curious.

Well this might be a good time to strees test the DM server?
Sorry for the plug but I need to hammer the crap out of it and see if it is gonig to handle 16 folks or 20.
