Toby, he's just asking for a little help man, he's spent alot of time putting the mods on and would appreciate it people would go on there and stress test it for a couple maps.

Well I put the server on a new box, much faster than the P3 it was on.
More ram, more bandwidth, 100 mbps card, instead of 10 mbps wireless card. :D

And my mods aren't working stay tuned.
I will take any help offered.
I hate this half@rsed scripting stuff that is out dated and the instructions don't match the new directory stucture that steam has made.

3 DAYS IN THE MAKING. Maybe on the 7th day God will let me make it right. :D

You are correct sir, see how fryed my brain is from trying to figure this out you darn sv_voicequality 5 and sv_voicecodec speex.dll fartknocker you.

now if I could just get the darn server.cfg to freaking load we would be in business.

The voice quality is much better now.

The server.cfg should load automatically, make sure your editing the right server.cfg

Okay I have copyed the server.cfg file and overwrote all the copies I can find.
I don't think that the dedicated server mod uses that file.....
The instructions on all the websites are for older CS/HL servers and the instructions don't match with what is downloaded now with the Steam install.

I think you are making it harder than it is. When you install the steam version of HLDS, it creates its own server.cfg and all you have to do is find it and edit it.

I'm sorry I'll be more sepecific. Test the sounds commands. IE (Daddy, Boon, Nub, Bendover, etc. ) and see if statsme is working, see if hit box appears to be correct. If maps load properly, or if it crashes loading a custom map, see how the ping is and loss, see if your FPS is suitable, you know all the basic crap to have a "playable" server. :D

I need to fix "thetime" command. I am guessing that is another mod.
