I've been doing a stupid report for one of my MBA classes and have come across an interesting statistic.

something like 37% of the market share for video cards belongs to Intel but I can't find anyone who actually sells them. If they are only sold as integrated video cards, where does there market share come from? I certainly don't know anyone who uses an Intel video card. :dunno

If you look at Dell (who commands a LARGE number of "cookie-cutter" computer sales), they ALL use Intel motherboards that have Intel graphic chips integrated onboard.

Ok, well...not ALL of them, but a lot of the lower end computers that they sell do use one (I happen to be replacing a motherboard out of one that died...hehe)

Yeah - those high numbers come from all the Celeron and even some P4 systems with intel Integrated graphics - from the old i810 to the new Intel Extreme graphcis - there were also some Intel agp and pci vid cards back in the day - i740 chipset.
