how to get the compound off my cpu

this is cleaning the cpu unit of the video card fan

is there anything (besides panties.. wtf) that i have in my house i can use? another board said lent free.. but what the hell is lent free? i dont study the stuff in my house to determine lent free

Rubbing alcohol and a regular handkerchief/hand towel always works for me.

i just used a t-shirt to get all of it off

then used the q-tip to clean it up real nice like

working good so far.. we'll see what happens
