I've had a 36gig Raptor for about a month now and have finally decided to install it. Yeah I know I'm just lazy and didn't feel like reinstalling everything again.

Here's the deal I plug everything in but on my boot screen it does not show my hard drive, meaning it's not recognizing it. So I check the manual for my Asus A7N8X Deluxe and see I need to move a jumper to enable SATA. I move the jumper to the proper spot and it STILL doesn't see my hard drive upon rebooting.

Thoughts and theories?

in the bios of the motherboard, there is also an option that needs to be selected in order to see the hard drive

Sometimes you have to flash install drivers for SATA drives.
