Okay people i need some help.. i was at my girl friends house today and her mom asked if i could look at her computer because she said there was a virsu on it.. i ran the AVG program and this is what it said

"VIrus Detected
Virusidentified
"I-Worm/Netsky.Q" is found in file C:\Programs\FVProtect.exe
C:\ProgramsFiles\Morpheus\Mysharedfolder"

Okay well i deleted them both.. and they are still showing up.. Any ideas on what to do?

Thanks

If that doesn't work, try using HijackThis and manually remove the file.

Morpheus is still around?

Tell them to get rid of that crap, there are better options out there for file sharing.

i found this online scanner called housecall...heres the url http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

it can get most viruses/trojans/worms as long as the infected file is not running
