Anyone know how to set up IRC

I honestly have no clue what to do when setting up an IRC channel for the |Rd site. We are currently using phpNuke and I've installed a java applet to view the IRC channel from. Now I need to figure out how/where to host a channel and what to do beyond that point. Can someone at least point me in the right direction?

You have to first set up an account. Go to gamesurge.net (I think) and follow the directions there. Once you set up an account, set up a channel and boom, you're done. It's all on their site.
