Actually its just a ton of code. Copy and paste all of the contents of ths .txt file into your sig. There will be 3 lines you need to edit. Each one is just where the .mp3 or .wav is located on the web.

um, ok that would be a link to a webpage. You need to have a link to a mp3 file...

example: www.adomain.com/music/mysong.mp3

Quite simple, you have to find a site that allows "Off Site Hosting" in other words they let you link to the file from external sites. If you pay for hosting this is not an issue, if you go with the free sites then it can be an issue. You then just upload the mp3 or what ever format and just link back to it via that html codeing that was given to you.

It's not hard but, if your new to internet and or web hosting/design it can be a little over whelming.

been doing some thinking about this and im not tottally sure everyone should be uploading mp3s to this script... the reason why i say that is because i dont want our 56k users.. and broadband users to have to dl 40 MBs of song files every time they load a new thread. The only reason why we have allowed it in the past is because people kept the file size down to a min. So use the script, but dont link to large files or else it will be removed.

Hey, look, if I can do it (Uber Delete) then any one can do it. Just take a deep breathe and follow the directions given. Like they said, its not hard you just need to be willing to try. We will definately help you in any way, just let us know if you can't get it and we'll walk you through it.

I'm trying to download the mp3 file but everyone I get is corrupted. If you have it upload it to the merc site and the 3 lines on the txt file that hybrid mentioned would look like this. This is what my txt file looks like in my sig. My sond in my sig is simple man by Lynard Skynard. I downloaded the mp3 file to the website then edited the 3 lines to look like this

I'm trying to download the mp3 file of the song but it seems every version is messed up. If you have it just upload it to the merc site then edit the 3 lines in the txt file and paste it into your sig file in your user cp.

the 3 lines are
param name="BaseURL" value="http://edit_this_path_to_the_sound/whatever.mp3"
param name="Filename" value="http://edit_this_path_to_the_sound/whatever.mp3"
param name="SAMIFileName"value="http://edit_this_path_to_the_sound/whatever.mp3"

where it says "edit_this _path_to_the_sound/whatever.p3" you will type something like this, like I have for my song in my sig simpleman by Lynard Skynard.

param name="BaseURL" value="http://www.lamerc.com/upload/05.Simple Man.mp3"
param name="Filename" value="http://www.lamerc.com/upload/05.Simple Man.mp3"
param name="SAMIFileName"value="http://www.lmerc.com/upload/05.Simple Man.mp3"

Ok then just paste it into your sig
that is located in your user cp

I'm trying Dutch but I'm still really hung over so I may not be making complete sense. Let me know what you need.
