100 choke w00t

hey for about 3 days now i have been gettin 90-100 choke on every server i play on, not just the merc's, and i was wonderin if anyone had a solution. I have tried cl_updaterate among other things. So any help yall can give would be appreciated, thanx.

lol captain. My rate i set was cl_updaterate xxx, and then i did cl_updaterate 20

set your rate to 13000 and your cl_updaterate to 20, if you get choke then its something else, you can't go lower than a cl_updaterate of 20 on our server but most people with broadband usually run it at 30 or above.

What is your cl_cmdrate set to?

You cmdrate should never be higher than lowest fps you get. If you get 60 fps, set your cmdrate to 60. If you get 100 fps, set your cmdrate to 85-95

To set your rate, its just rate 13000

well i used to get 100 fps before i reinstalled steam, now it doesn't stay constant so i dont know wat to set it to.
