Saturday Hike

Well we have lived in Montana less than a month and I am still in awe over the landscape and scenery 30 mins from our house. If you have 4 wheel drive and good ground clearance there are so many places to go it boggles my mind. Rode thru about 20 miles of National forest and came to a place called "The gates of the Mountains" named by Lewis and Clark. Did a short 3mile hike and saw so many elk,mule deer and antelope it was crazy. Anyway bow season starts here Sept. 10th and Im all over it.

Just beautiful, Sling...thanks for sharing. All I would require is air conditioning, running water, and electricity.....guess I'll just stay home. lol

Btw...standing open invitation to any Merc or family that gets out this way you have a free place to stay. Fully finished basement with 2 bedrooms,full bath and your own fireplace. By all means take me up on it :bigok
