QuakeCon 2004...who's going?

I know some of you all are planning on going to QuakeCon in Aug...Post here if you are going, etc.

I am going...this will be my first QuakeCon, and hopefully, not my last.

lol its not just quake, this is put on by the id software guys, its just a HUGE lan (about 3000 people). Everyone plays any game they want of course. They have workshops, giveaways, and usually they announce, or let people playtest their upcoming games in a seperate room (DOOM3 this year most likely) Oh and the real kicker, its FREE!

i'll go! well.. can't I wanna go.. :( Quake II was my 1st FPS ever to be played. I'm better at quake2/3 arena and Ut then CS.. Just a lot more fun, and fast.. AND NO SPAWN WAIT TIME BWHAHAH. hey.. anyone wanna start up some quake or UT? hmm? have fun tech, frag a few nubs (if ya can..ha) for us!

Ok, so...just an update. I'll be the lone MERC in attendence. I've got my room lined up (will be rooming with some guys from near Houston) and am REALLY looking forward to this trip. I'm going to borrow someone's camera that is better than mine, and I'm going to take tons of pics to post here.
