Just a heads up on this new worm thats out there. I have one puter that is infected and the bad thing is that it keeps shutting it back down so it's not easy no get rid of. If you haven't updated your windows lately now would be a good time.

Just by booting up my computer this morning is how I got it. This worm does not need you to open any attachments. All it needs is an unprotected internet connection and WHAM!! it's got you. The computer that got infected was one that I had just formatted the hard drive on. So I didn't have the anti-virus or anything on it yet. Now I can't even get it to boot up so I can patch it or run the stinger. Gonna have to do some reading up on this one. I really hate viruses! lol :shootme:

Nope. It will let me choose safe mode then it turns off. AHHHHHHHHHH it's driving me mad!!!

That would be step one if it were me, step two would be to try and find a sucker with a computer that has an updated antivirus program or the stinger to connect my hard drive to in slave and scan my hdd... just tell them there's no I in team while you push them out of the room...

This may not help but you may want to give it a try!

If you can get it up to desk top go to start, click on run, and in the box type
shutdown a
then push enter. This will keep it from shuting down. I have to keep that typed in there so my computer won't shut down on me so much. I don't have any viruses on my computer tho. but try that and see if it will work long enugh to get it fixed.
