LOTR fans...

As most of you know, I'm a huge "Beatles" fan, and just found this tidbit of info...

All four of the Beatles were HUGE fans of the Lord of the Rings books, and The Beatles gave serious thought to filming The Lord of the Rings starring themselves.


Just thought it was amusing...
I wounder how it would have been if they HAD filmed the LOTR...would it have been like A hard days night, Magical Mystery Tour, or animated like the Yellow Submarine?

I would say the yellowsubmarine would be the way they did it. Maybe they could have used Yoko has gollum.
