Rusty Wallace was fined $10,000 several years ago by nascar. if i'm not mistaken, it was for the roof line being a 1/4 of an inch too low due to a busted shock mount. He showed up at the track the next week with an armored car with $10,000 worth of bagged pennies to pay nascar.
