Do you now receive ONLY U.S. citizenship, with no Canadian rights? I was just wondering how that worked, since Peter/Corp-OutKast is Australian and is working on his citizenship also. My mum is from France, and Dad is American - so I have dual citizenship in both France and the U.S. Curious how that works for you immigrants though. *giggles* :P

Actually, if you are an American citizen, the United States recognizes you as ONLY American. In fact, during the ceremony yesterday, I had to give up all ties to citizenship of other countries.

But......some other countries, like Canada, do recognize dual citizenship. So to answer your question....I am a dual citizen in the point of view of Canada, but only American citizen according to the US. :)
