Ok, let me give a quick and semi-easy run-down.... Last Wednesday on my trip home from work I hear a very nasty and unwanted sound coming from my transmission and it didn't want to go into gear even with the cluth presses to te floor - ok, release bearing, Replaced. However once we everything back together and tried to test run - no clutch, hard as a rock! Slave cylinder and master cylinder for the clutch are gone, FUBAR. Well as we pulled the transmission we broke the exhaust manifold bolts and several teeth from the starter .... darn it!
So this week we (my wife and I) have been rotating cars/trucks/vans with family members ... UNTIL TODAY! I am the Proud owner of a 2003 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Prerunner! WOOT! WOOT! You wanna talk about sweet, this thing is da bomb! Ok, that sounded retarted but anyway.... I'll post some pics as soon as M@lachi brings the good camera over, since mine sux.

This may be a stupid question, but what is a prerunner??? Is that the type of Tacoma?

Old truck was a 1995 Chevy S-10, extended cab, 2 wheel drive, with 4.3L V-6 and a manual transmission

Prerunner is the "off-road' package, kinda like the Z-71 is the off-road package for the 4x4 Chevy and GMC.

I think the Prerunner is a Tacoma with the 4x4 suspension without the actual 4 wheel drive. Correct me if I am wrong. If I am, sorry.

Dont know much about Toyotas, but the are fast cars :D and they made a Supra's :D SOOOO I love toyotas :D hehehe, But 4x4 Wouldnt be given to the truck if it didnt have 4x4 capabilities. Maybe 4x2-But i havent seen a 4x2 truck ina long time... w00t, anyway, CONGRATS ON YOU NEW TRUCK MAN!
