Looking to buy a new game mouse. Mainly for FPS. I have a pretty nice one now, but I want a new one. Please give suggestions which mouse you think is the best for FPS. thanks :)

in just ordered the viper mouse from Razor its supposed to be the best optical mouse out there. i don't know but i'll see. they are the same people that make the boomslang

i use a logitech wireless mouse.. and ive never had a problem with it whatsoever!

I use a logitech mx500 at home and work. it's the best mouse I've ever had. (it's wired not wireless. wireless is the mx700 and bluetooth mx900)

anyway, logitech has upgraded the mx500 and released the mx510. it has very impressive specs: 800-dpi, 5.8 megapixel MX optical sensor and high report rate (12-bits) I would highly suggest it. If my mx500 breaks (or if the wife needs a new mouse, she gets the mx500) I'll definitly get the mx510.

e0b's true hax was the ones he was pullin on me, the mouse flash hax. For those of you that need further explanation, bout every 2 secs eob would pick his mouse up and flip it 90 degrees to the left and set it back down. Well i was on his left, that little red light kept coming right at me. HAXOR!

LOL.. I never really noticed I did that before. I really think its because of the mouse I use. I'm looking at the viper 1000dpi right now.. onlything I don't like about it is the way it looks. If there were more pics to see the sides it help. CO that mouse looks and sounds sweet. Plus I can see that it would prob hit my hand well. I hate the fact that the best mice(?) have to have cords.. I want a good cordless one dangit!! trhnx guys.. more suggestions are welcome:)

I saw that! I didn't know if he was just doing somethign weird, or if that's just the way he was used to playing. You would figure with a mouse pad the size of Rhode Island, he wouldn't have to pick up his mouse....sheesh

your second link is bad, but if you are comparing the logitech dual optical to the mx510, there is no comparison. by far the 510 outperforms the dual optical. the tracking engine and data transfer are alot better. not to mention you have 8 buttons that can be assigned to whatever you want. (the entire mx series is better than the dual optical due to the optical processing engine it uses)

oh yea he's getting that one. he's all about having more buttons. just look at his gamepad. i think he lost sleep for an entire week before that thing got shipped to the house. the boy goes mad crazy about anything computer related

haha well turns out it was staples and not office depot where i went.. and staples didn't have it, nor do they even carry it in other stores. I'ma check best prices online before I buy.. wonder if it comes in another color.. maybe blue 0_o

The mx310 is probably half the weight of the mx510 and most say it fits the hand very well

i bought the mx700 wireless and took it back the next day. it was big, heavy and fit weird in my hand. they say the 500 is the wired model of the 700, so its the same size.

i got the mx310 instead and it fits good in my hand, is light weight, and average in size. i noticed airborne played with the same mouse when i got to the lan. i would recommend that one or the optical razer. if u go with the razer let us know if its good or not.

anyway I did get the red mx510 and I must say I love it..now. At 1st hard to get use to, like all other new pc stuff.. But after awhile, messing with the sensitivity ect. i really like it.. So much more smoother, and it really helps with the awp. Thanks all for your help on gettin me dis l33t m0|_|53
