I went with the ole lady and her parents to Venice LA over the Easter weekend. They have a camp on an island called South Pass about 27 miles off the coast Venice LA. Super secluded place. I think they lease the land for the camp every year $$$$$$$$. I was expecting that her father would leave me down there on an unexpected fishing accident. But he let me come back. I did learn one thing about Louisianna. The farther south you go, the scarier and stranger the people get. They don't seem to like police in the bayous. This was something right out of the movie "The Waterboy". The bad thing is, her dad knew all of them and they seemed to be good friends. One bad move on my part and I would have never been seen again. I kept waiting for her dad to ask me what my intentions were with his daughter. I still have not fully recovered from the weekend scare. The picture is on the dock at South pass. A 27 mile drive south by boat down the bayou.
