You know, this has nothing to do with dogs, but that pic reminds me of a house that we hit one night here in Ruston. Our driver passed the house by mistake so when we come out of the van we were at a double time run heading back to the house. I was carring the 60lbs ram as I was running. We get to the steps of the house and start heading for the door and get a little suprise. On the steps, about every other one, they had lined with planters, at least that is what I call them, they were long narrow pots that had flowers planted in them. I about broke my neck tring to jump over them and get to the porch with out waking everyone in the house up before I busted the door down. Did not see them till I was about to step on one. I think that a couple of guys ended up stepping on them and shattering them, but it all worked out.
