How do I install skins, I want to install a weapon skin, but it's not working.

Place the file is this location C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\"your-email-account-for-steam"\counter-strike\cstrike\models
if the folder does not exist, then you must create it, but when you do, steam will look at that file instead of the default skin.

for some reason that aint working. It's not recognizing it.

what type of file extension is on the model that you have, it should just have a .mdl extension
