I Have Mic problems....help....

My mic works fine out of CS, wi can hear myself through the speakers and record in windows sound recorder, when I try to test the mic in CS there is nothing.

Wha do I have to do to get my mic to work in CS?



I have a sound audigy 2 platinum ex sound card(witht the external HD of course, where th mic has to be pluged in)

Im doing a sound test on the Hardware
and in the "MIcrophone Test" section when I speak the meter goes up in the record section but nothing in the playback. But when i go to test in the "Speaker Test" section it works fine, how do i fix it.

In counter-strike - click "Options" then choose the Keyboard tab. You will see a list of all your keyboard binds. Check to see if "Use Voice Communication" is bound to a key. It is "K" by default.

yes it is, do i need to press that key when im testing it too?

actually i tried that, it dont work, when I test in CS it dont work, the mter doesnt do anythign.
