Need help with...

Anyone own or know how to work a Olympus Stylus 300 Digital Camera. Its got this write protect thing activated on it and i can't figure how to get it to go away. With that on, i can't take pictures or adjust the ones on the camera. Any help would be nice

do you see a write protect graphic pop up when you try to take a pic?

on the monitor on the back, it has write protect and a symbol across the screen when i power the camera on. I read the manual, it was saying something like i had turn that off with a computer, and the only software that came with the camera is some camedia stuff, and it crashes EVERYTIME i try to look at pictures through that program.

there is also a section on protecting pics, on page 93 see if that helps at all

Finally, got it working, had to format the card using the camera to get that to go away. After talking bout it for a long time, heres a pic of my case finally...

I mounted it up on the wall so i'd have more desk space, when my desk is clean, i have about a 2 foot square to move my mouse around on, helps alot. This is what my desk looks like most of the time
